Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Bill Kramer is responsible for NERSC computational
facilities and support. Prior to his Berkeley
Lab appointment, Mr. Kramer was with the NASA
Ames Research Center, where he was Chief of
Advanced Air Transportation Technologies and
was responsible for creating and implementing
an R&D program for designing revolutionary
new Air Traffic Management systems. From 1988
to 1994, he was Branch Chief of NASA Computational
Services, responsible for all aspects of operations
and customer service for NASA's principal supercomputer
center. He holds a BS and an MS in computer
science from Purdue University and an ME in
electrical engineering from the University of
Delaware.
